The highly acclaimed "Futures"development programme run through the European Head Office in the UK, has produced the first batch of Leader Managers for Assurant Solutions.
To recognise the achievements of the 6 Futures Graduates the business held a graduation ceremony this week. The ceremony was attended by not only our Graduates but also the people that have helped develop them over the past two years including mentors, past secondment line managers, current line managers and our external learning partners.
The Futures journey started over two years ago when all 24 applicants went through a very thorough selection process of interviews, and both group and individual tasks. At the end of the selection process 6 people were chosen to be part of the Futures development programme.
The Futures programme requires each graduate to be placed in 4 different secondments around the business, taking in areas such as contact centre team management, client relationships, supply chain, compliance, change management and finance. During this time the graduates are also studying for externally recognised qualifications such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership.
The development programme is endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management, and is supported by the Call Centre Management Association (CCMA).
2015 saw the next tranche of 8 Futures Graduates joining the development programme.
