Car supermarket giant Fords of Winsford – ranked as one of the top 10 independent used car dealers in the UK – has joined the RAC Dealer Network.

 

Starting this month, the partnership will see the dealer offer the highest level of warranty available from the RAC, Platinum Plus, as an optional addition for customers to all car sales at its two sites in Winsford and Manchester.

 

Available on all qualifying vehicles, Platinum Plus extends cover to include claims on failures caused by carbon build up, wear and tear, and diagnostic work up to one hour. There are three, six,12, 24 and 36 month term options allowing a wide choice of coverage to suit all needs.

 

Paul Campion, general manager at Fords of Winsford, explained that his company had been attracted by the strength of the RAC brand, the quality of the RAC-branded range of warranties, the high level of support offered by the RAC Dealer Network, and the stability of both the RAC and Assurant, its partner in the warranty and aftersales sector.
